Open Works
One of the largest non-profit maker spaces, Open Works was the original home of the Baltimore Bolts. The Bolts maintained a space for storing robots and parts, as well as leveraging the tooling throughout the facility.

The BRC provides a much needed space in Baltimore for city robotics teams to meet, collaborate, and compete. The BRC was also instrumental in helping to establish the Baltimore Bolts.

The Abell Foundation is committed to supporting children and youth who are educationally vulnerable while also preserving educational options that serve advanced learners. They have supported the Bolts as an after-school program which helps fill the gaps in school-day offerings.
